Without any hesitation, Jose is one of the good guys in the sport of bodybuilding. He has spent many
years in the Natural divisions with tremendous success. He also has become a star in the open IFBB.
Jose has stuck with his trusted world renowned Guru, Chris the Technician Aceto. They have always dialed
it in come contest time and have worked well together over the years. Here's an example of Jose's diet:
Meal 1 - Following fasted cardio. 10oz bison meat, 1 cup egg whites, 1/2 cup cream of rice
Meal 2 - 10oz of Chicken Breast with 2 cups rice
Meal 3 - 10oz of Chicken Breast with 1 cup rice
Meal 4 - 10oz Tilapia (or sometimes Orange Roughy Fish) with 1 cup rice
Meal 5 - 50-60g of Casein Protein for nighttime
Jose has been lifting for over 2 decades, and that accounts for his thickness and muscle maturity. While dominating
in the 212 division, he could easily be competitive in the open as well. He sticks with basics, compound movements.
After so many years of training and with such a long haul of competing successfully. Jose knows how to beat up his
body yet stay relatively injury free even today, in to his 40's. Here is a typical training split for Jose:
Monday - Quads, light Hamstrings with Calves
Tuesday AM - Core, Cardio and Posing
Tuesday PM - Triceps and Chest
Wednesday - Biceps and Back
Thursday - Deltoids with Abs
Friday - Hamstrings with light Quads with Calves
Saturday - Biceps with Triceps
Sunday - Chest with light Back
